Gift Vouchers

Pet Portraits make such wonderful gifts, but if you'd have a hard time getting hold of photos, or you aren't sure which Commission Style they would prefer, Gift Vouchers are an easy solution.

Beautifully presented in honey coloured envelopes with a paw-print wax seal, they are a lovely thing for someone to receive and get excited about. You can choose to have a name added to the front of the envelope and a personal message included inside, or left unsealed with a blank card for you to write your own message. 

You can now also buy Digital Gift Vouchers for last-minute gifting and International orders. These are emailed to you as a PDF and can be printed out at home, or forwarded on to the recipients email.

The options I've given in the drop down menu are my most popular, but if you are wanting to gift a particular commission style or monetary value not listed, more than one commission style, or a combination of different styles, please get in touch and I can easily make you a customised voucher. If someone has more than one Pet, I would recommend gifting a monetary value - this way, they can choose to get either separate illustrations or a double portrait.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Once you've purchased your Voucher package, a unique code will be generated especially for your order, so there's never any confusion about what exactly has been gifted. 

The front of the voucher will tell them what Commission Package has been bought for them, or the monetary value of the Gift Voucher.

The 'How to Start your Commission' postcard guides the recipient through selecting their reference images, contacting me, and what to expect from the commission process. It's super simple, but for people who have never commissioned custom artwork before, it's nice to have everything clearly explained!

If you've bought a Gift Voucher for a specific Commission Package, a picture postcard will also be included to show the recipient the size and style portrait they will be getting. On the back will be the name of the package and a QR code so they can see more examples. If you are gifting a monetary value, a general example of my style will be included as a postcard displaying the total amount, with a QR code to my website. 

Once the recipient has gotten in touch, it typically takes around 1 - 2 weeks for the portrait to be completed. As with any other regular Commission, I always send photos of the finished piece to make sure the recipient is completely delighted with the end result and check if any tweaks need to be made before the illustration gets posted.

Digital Voucher = Package Price + £0.00

Physical Voucher = Package Price + £2.50

Physical Voucher + Name & Message = Package Price + £5.00

If you are purchasing from a location outside the UK, or the recipient of the voucher lives outside of the UK, please send an email to petportraitillustration@gmail.com for a price that will sufficiently cover the postage costs. For example, a voucher and resulting artwork posted to the US will incur an extra charge of £30, to cover tracked shipping. You can pay easily via a Paypal link.

There is no expiry on my Gift Vouchers, but over the years, my prices have increased due to rising costs. If the voucher is not claimed for more than a few years, and the current price of the gifted commission package is greater than £20, the voucher will transfer to store credit for the amount paid by the buyer. This amount is built into the unique code.
